A Sliver of Light is a Side Quest in Diablo 4. A Sliver of Light can be found at Deep Forest, Scosglen. Side Quests are optional missions that players can complete in order to obtain different rewards. Players are usually rewarded XP, and Gold depending on your level. Completing Side Quests in a specific region will also add to the Region Renown. Side Quests can be acquired by encountering various events or interacting with different NPCs.
To cleanse the Dark Thicket, I need to escort Shob`ha's familiar, Mochrann, t the worst areas and protect it while it performs the ritual.

A Sliver of Light Walkthrough
This quest is activated after the completion of The Old Ways side quest. Players will need to speak to Shob`ha's to conclude the quest, and she will directly lead you to Mochrann for the start of a Sliver of Light.
- Speak to Mochrann.
Mochrann will be marked on your map with the blue quest objective marker, just west of Shob`ha's Perch at the Dead Barks Wilderness. Interact with Shob`ha's familiar and it will begin to follow you.
- Bring Mochrann to the font of corruption.
Your quest objective location will then be updated. This will pin a location south in the Dark Thicket. Arriving at this location will complete the objective. You will need to do this again at the next location.
- Bring Mochrann to the next font of corruption.
Locate the next quest location pin and watch out for enemies in the area. This time, once you arrive, you will need to aid the familiar a little more.
- Help Mochrann cleanse the corruption.
Clear the enemies in the area; a new gauge will pop up for the next objective.
- Slay corrupted beasts near Mochrann.
You will need to continuously slay enemies in the area that surrounds Mochrann. This will slowly fill up the meter. Continue clearing the area until the meter is filled to complete the objective
- Slay the remaining corrupted beasts.
You will then need to clear out the corrupted beasts left in the area to clear this objective.
- Bring Mochrann to the final font of corruption
When the area is clear your quest marker will update and you will have a new destination to follow on your map. Head to the new location.
- Help Mochrann cleanse the corruption.
Once you arrive, you will need to follow the same sequence and clear the area of corrupted enemies.
- Slay corrupted beasts near Mochrann.
- Slay the remaining corrupted beasts.
Repeat the steps done in the previous font of corruption and continue clearing out the enemies in the area until the objectives are clear.
- Return to the Shob`ha.
Once all locations have been cleared, you can return to the Shob`ha at Shob`ha's Perch. Use the Tur Dulra to take you closer to where the Shob`ha is. Speak to Shob`ha and complete the dialogue to conclude the quest. This will also complete A Deepening Shadow challenge questline.
