Augury of Bones is a Side Quest in Diablo 4. Augury of Bones can be found at Jirandai in the Untamed Scarps, in Dry Steppes. Side Quests are optional missions that players can complete in order to obtain different rewards. Players are usually rewarded XP, and Gold depending on your level. Completing Side Quests in a specific region will also add to the Region Renown. Side Quests can be acquired by encountering various events or interacting with different NPCs.

Augury of Bones Walkthrough
Begin the Quest by speaking to Nomin in Jirandai. Ask "The Grinning One?" and he'll respond with a short exposition on the deity he worships. This will activate the Quest and highlight your next objective location which will be northeast of your current location.
- Speak with Ogai in the Valley of the Strayed
Look for Ogai in the Valley of the Strayed and ask him "What are you doing?" He will conclude that he needs some better Bone Dust to hear the voices he wants to hear.
- Collect Bone Dust from skeletons in the Valley of the Strated: 0/3
You should already be within the next large blue circle for the next objective. Just keep killing all the Skeleton Enemies in this area until you collect three Bone Dust from their drops.
- Return to Ogai
Head back to Ogai and say "I retrieved the bone dust." He will take the dust and sniff it to get some enlightenment, but it won't be enough and instead make him sneeze, which in turn blows off dust from an inscription nearby. Investigate the Immemorial Inscription The inscription should be easily identifiable, right behind Ogai. It'll talk about how his deity only gives the gift of eternal bliss to those who are worthy.
- Speak to Ogai about the Ancient Inscription
Interact with Ogai again and ask "The Old One's Eternal Gift?" He'll reach an epiphany and invite you to his deity's shrine. This will complete the quest.
