Lightning DamageCharged Bolts is a Sorceress Skill in Diablo 4. Charged Bolts releases 5 bolts of lightning that travel along the ground in a random pattern, dealing damage.
NOTE: Stats updated as of Patch 1.0.3, released June 27th.
Charged Bolts Diablo 4 Information
Charged Bolts belongs to the Sorceress class Skill Tree, and is part of the Core Cluster.
Active Skills can be ranked up to Rank 5. Players can also Enhance and then Upgrade the skill to add new features to its effects.
Active Skills are represented by big square icons in the Skill Tree menu.
Charged Bolts Effects in Diablo 4
Charged Bolts can be upgraded up to Rank 5, by spending more skill points. Upgrading Charged Bolts will further increase its benefits depending on its rank:
Rank 1:
- Damage
X [30%]
Rank 2:
- Damage X [33%]
Rank 3:
- Damage X [36%]
Rank 4:
- Damage X [39%]
Rank 5:
- Damage X [42%]
Diablo 4 Enhance & Upgrade for Charged Bolts
You can Enhance Charged Bolts to add the following effects:
- Enhanced Charged Bolt: Hitting an enemy at least 3 times with same cast of Charged Bolts releases a lightning nova, dealing X [24%] damage to enemies around them.
After enhancing Charged Bolts, you may also Upgrade it, to get the following effects depending on the upgrade you selected. You may only choose 1 of these:
- Destructive Charged Bolts: Hitting an enemy with Charged Bolts reduces their damage dealt by 20% for 3 seconds.
- Greater Charged Bolts: Charged Bolts deal 25% [x] increased damage to Stunned enemies.
Enhancements and Upgrades are represented by diamond shaped icons in the Skill Tree menu
Diablo 4 Charged Bolts Enchantment Slot
When a Sorceress completes their Specialization and receives the Enchantment System, they can add Charged Bolts to one of the newly available slots. By doing so, they receive the following passive:
Rank 1:
- When you Stun an enemy, there's a 40% chance to release 3 Charged Bolts from them.
Rank 2:
- When you Stun an enemy, there's a 40% chance to release 3 Charged Bolts from them.
Rank 3:
- When you Stun an enemy, there's a 40% chance to release 3 Charged Bolts from them.
Rank 4:
- When you Stun an enemy, there's a 40% chance to release 3 Charged Bolts from them.
Rank 5:
- When you Stun an enemy, there's a 40% chance to release 3 Charged Bolts from them.
