Materials in Diablo 4 are items that are used to Craft and upgrade Equipment such as Armor, Weapons, Accessories, and much more. Materials can be found in various ways such as enemy or boss drops, Quests and inside crates or chests. This page will indicate a list of all Materials in Diablo 4 which will include their description. Crafting Materials and Currencies

Diablo 4 features a wide range of 23 Materials and three distinct Currencies, each categorized into, HerbsMonster PartsOres, and Skins, Players can access these Materials through a designated inventory storage, complete with a button to open and view their collection. These crafting materials do not take up any inventory space, making it easy for players to collect and store as much as they need.

 

Gathering Materials

Diablo 4 introduces an auto pickup feature for materials, which saves players from having to click multiple times to collect them. While items like Equipment and Gems must be picked up manually, crafting Materials, including GoldHerbs, and Ores, are collected automatically simply by walking over them.

 

What NPCs are related to Crafting in Diablo 4?

There are four different NPCs in Diablo 4 who can use crafting materials.

As an instance, you can visit The Alchemist every 10 levels to boost the potency of your healing Potions, resulting in more beneficial effects. Moreover, you can create consumable Elixirs that offer various benefits such as ResistanceAttack Power, or additional Stats, along with a bonus of extra experience.

 

Rarities

As you journey through Diablo 4, you'll encounter items with varying degrees of rarity, including CommonMagicRareLegendary, and Unique. Typically, these items are influenced by your character's level progression, with Common and Magic items dropping less frequently than rare and Legendary as you level up. Unique items, on the other hand, are extremely rare and are considered to be some of the best items in the game that you may never even find in a single season.
