Cries of Innocence is a Side Quest in Diablo 4. Cries of Innocence can be found at Olyam Trundra. Side Quests are optional missions that players can complete in order to obtain different rewards. Players are usually rewarded XP, and Gold depending on your level. Completing Side Quests in a specific region will also add to the Region Renown. Side Quests can be acquired by encountering various events or interacting with different NPCs.

The tormented spirit of a Black Asylum inmate reaches out for company. 

I met a grieving father who is haunted by visions of his dead son. I must enter the Black Asylum and destroy the toermented spirit of Corik Trost.

Cries of Innocence Walkthrough

• Speak to Vendral Trost in Olyam Tundra

Vendral Trost will be in Olyam Tundra on top of a bridge. Ask him what he is doing here and the quest will be activated after the dialogue. This will lead you to a Dungeon location Northeast of your current location at the Asylum Lot

• Enter the Black Asylum

Once you reach your objective destination, you will need to enter the Black Asylum dungeon. You can also take the opportunity to simultaneously clear the Black Asylum objectives to gain additional rewards. Interact with the entrance to enter the dungeon. 

• Slay the tormented spirit of Corik Trost

Once you enter the dungeon, your objective will update and you will be tasked to locate then slay the spirit of Corik Trost. The dungeon objectives will also be displayed on your sidebar. The pathways of this dungeon can be narrow so it will be difficult to completely run through without clearing the enemies in your way. Head deep into the Asylum until you reach a cell block area. This will look like a square on the dungeon map. This is where you will encounter Corik Trost the Abandoned. You will need to defeat him in combat to clear this objective and move on. 

• Speak with Vendral Trost 

When you are done with this area, you can return to Vendral Trost. This will complete the quest.
