Physical DamageEarth Spike is a Druid Skill in Diablo 4. Earth Spike allows Druids to smash the ground, impaling the first enemy hit and dealing damage.
NOTE: Base damage increased from 16% to 17%, Spirit generated increased from 10 to 11 and Fierce Earthspike Fortify increased from 4% to 8% in Patch 1.0.3
Earth Spike Diablo 4 Information
Earth Spike belongs to the Druid class Skill Tree, and is part of the Basic Cluster.
Active Skills can be ranked up to Rank 5. Players can also Enhance and then Upgrade the skill to add new features to its effects.
Active Skills are represented by big square icons in the Skill Tree menu.
Earth Spike Effects in Diablo 4
Earth Spike can be upgraded up to Rank 5, by spending more skill points. Upgrading Earth Spike will further increase its benefits depending on its rank:
Rank 1:

Diablo 4 Enhance & Upgrade for Earth Spike
You can Enhance Earth Spike to add the following effects:
- Enhanced Earth Spike: Earthspike has a 10% chance to Stun for 2.5 seconds.
After enhancing Earth Spike, you may also Upgrade it, to get the following effects depending on the upgrade you selected. You may only choose 1 of these:
- Fierce Earth Spike: Fortify for 8% of your Base Life (X) whenever Earth Spike damages enemies who are Stunned, Immobilized, or Knocked Back.
- Wild Earth Spike: Summon a second Earth Spike when hitting an Immobilized or Stunned enemy.
Enhancements and Upgrades are represented by diamond shaped icons in the Skill Tree menu
