Faith in Blood is a Side Quest in Diablo 4. Faith in Blood can be found at Kyovashad. Side Quests are optional missions that players can complete in order to obtain different rewards. Players are usually rewarded XP, and Gold depending on your level. Completing Side Quests in a specific region will also add to the Region Renown. Side Quests can be acquired by encountering various events or interacting with different NPCs.

Faith in Blood Walkthrough
- Speak with Petr in Kyovashad
Petr will be right by the Kyovashad Waypoint. Speak to him and ask why he's whispering to activate the quest and reveal the next objective.
- Enter the Ominous Cellar
The Ominous Cellar is a Side Quest Dungeon directly east of the waypoint location within the first home. Once you arrive at the destination, interact with the Cellar Doors to enter the cellar.
- Speak with Sister Octavia
Once you enter the cellar, Sister Octavia will be in the next room over where the bed is.
- Speak with Priest Matvey
After the dialogue, you will be sent to find Priest Matvey. Exit the Cellar and a location will be marked in Margrav, a location south of Kyovashad, which will be where Priest Matvey will be. If the Waypoint is available, use the Margrave Waypoint to travel to the next location. Priest Matvey will be nearby. Head west towards the Pyre of Margrave and you will find the Priest Matvey there. Interact with him and ask for a holy chalice.
- Fill the chalice with Bandit Blood
Now that you have obtained the chalice from Priest Matvey, a meter will appear where your objective is. You will need to fill the chalice with bandit blood. The quest will lead you to an area east of your current location. You will need to clear the bandits marked in red in the area in order to gain the Bandit Blood needed to fill the meter. Once the meter fills, the objective will be updated.
- Return to Priest Matvey
Return to the pyre and speak to the priest again to get the next objective.
- Place a piece of pyre wood in the chalice
Approach the Pyre and there will be e piece of Smoldering Pyre Wood that you can interact with. This action will directly gather the wood and complete the objective.
- Return to Kvera's home
Once you reach Kvera's home, you will find Petr at the entrance and a short dialogue will begin.
- Enter the Ominous Cellar
Afterward, he will run back down into the cellar and you can enter the Ominous Cellar again after him.
- Rejoin Petr
Return to the Room with the bed to rejoin Petr
- Begin the exorcism
After a bit of dialogue, the objective will update and the chalice by the bed can now be interacted with to Begin the exorcism. Wait for the sequence to end and anticipate the incoming Enemies.
- Slay the Carvers
Clear the Enemies to continue. The objective will update again.
- Continue the exorcism
When you are ready, interact with the chalice again to continue the exorcism.
- Finish the exorcism
You will need to interact with the chalice one more time to finish the exorcism. Prepare for combat.
- Slay Demotath
Defeat Demotath in combat to continue the quest.
- Speak with Sister Octavia
Soon the sisters will return to the bedside and you can speak to Sister Octavia. She will have the quest marker above her head. Complete the dialogue then make your way outside.
- Meet Sister Octavia outside
Sister Octavia will be outside, just by the entrance of the cellar. Exit the cellar and speak to her one last time. This will complete the quest.
