Fire DamageFireball is a Sorceress Skill in Diablo 4. Fireball hurls an exploding ball of fire, damaging surrounding enemies.
NOTE: Stats updated as of Patch 1.0.3, released June 27th.
Fireball Diablo 4 Information
Fireball belongs to the Sorceress class Skill Tree, and is part of the Core Cluster.
Active Skills can be ranked up to Rank 5. Players can also Enhance and then Upgrade the skill to add new features to its effects.
Active Skills are represented by big square icons in the Skill Tree menu.
Fireball Effects in Diablo 4
Fireball can be upgraded up to Rank 5, by spending more skill points. Upgrading Fireball will further increase its benefits depending on its rank:
Rank 1:
- Damage
X [60%]
Rank 2:
- Damage X [66%]
Rank 3:
- Damage X [72%]
Rank 4:
- Damage X [78%]
Rank 5:
- Damage X [84%]
Diablo 4 Enhance & Upgrade for Fireball
You can Enhance Fireball to add the following effects:
- Enhanced Fireball: Fireball's radius is increased based on distance traveled, up to 50%
After enhancing Fireball, you may also Upgrade it, to get the following effects depending on the upgrade you selected. You may only choose 1 of these:
- Greater Fireball: Fireball deals 10% of the Burning damage you've applied to enemies as additional direct damage.
- Destructive Fireball: Fireball's explosion's Critical Strike Damage is increased by 10% [+]. Each enemy it hits increases this bonus by 5% [+], up to 25% [+] total.
Enhancements and Upgrades are represented by diamond shaped icons in the Skill Tree menu
Diablo 4 Fireball Enchantment Slot
When a Sorceress completes their Specialization and receives the Enchantment System, they can add Fireball to one of the newly available slots. By doing so, they receive the following passive:
Rank 1:
- When you kill an enemy, they explode in a Fireball for 50% of its damage.
Rank 2:
- When you kill an enemy, they explode in a Fireball for 50% of its damage.
Rank 3:
- When you kill an enemy, they explode in a Fireball for 50% of its damage.
Rank 4:
- When you kill an enemy, they explode in a Fireball for 50% of its damage.
Rank 5:
- When you kill an enemy, they explode in a Fireball for 50% of its damage.
