Fledgling Scholar is a Main Quest in Diablo 4. Fledgling Scholar can be found at Horadric Vault. Diablo IV Fledgling Scholar Walkthrough

Your next destination is the Mistral Woods, Neyrelle accompanying you, as you embark towards the Horadric Vault. Traverse the familiar path that led you into the Darkened Holt, now cleared for passage. Curve to the left, and before long, you'll find yourself at the entrance of the Vault. Interact with the Vault to gain entry. Neyrelle will express her expectations may not be fully met by this location. To proceed, obtaining a spell to cross the Black Lake is imperative. Neyrelle will lead you deeper into the Vault. However, an obstacle in the form of a spell blocks the Study Door, necessitating an alternate route.

Venture towards the adjacent door on the right and step through, finding yourself in the Foyer. Be cautious of the lurking Quillrats in the room's recesses, readying yourself for battle. Within this chamber, the book "Lesser Verses and Incantations" lies, capable of unlocking the gate. Retrieve the book and return to Neyrelle, who will utilize it to grant access through the gate. Accompany Neyrelle through the gate and progress through the door at the rear, delving further into the Vault's depths. Eventually, you will encounter yet another door sealed by a spell. Consult Neyrelle, and she will employ her magic to unseal the door, but she will remain outside, necessitating your individual passage.

Inside the Study, prepare yourself for battles against a variety of demons as you explore its expanse. Navigate to the very end of the Study, where a grand entranceway beckons, accompanied by a Healing Well outside. This hints at a formidable encounter awaiting you. Take advantage of the Healing Well's restorative properties before entering the forthcoming challenge. The coveted book you seek is guarded by Tchort, Herald of Lilith, a formidable demon boss. While not as elusive as previous adversaries, overcoming Tchort requires perseverance. Once you have triumphed over Tchort, secure the book titled "Death Harnessed: Theories of Rathma" from the boss chamber. Depart from the room and utilize the portal outside to return to the Foyer, where Neyrelle eagerly awaits your arrival. Present the book to Neyrelle, who discovers that it contains spells and theories devised by Rathma, the inaugural Necromancer. While it may not directly aid in traversing the Black Lake, Neyrelle believes the book holds the key to resurrecting her mother, who possesses the knowledge of the ritual required to cross the lake. With the quest accomplished, it is now time to retrace your steps and make your way back to the Black Lake.
