Diablo 4 Forgotten Depths Walkthrough
Upon entering the dungeon, you'll find yourself within the Unearthed Crypt. You are first tasked with freeing six prisoners. Head toward the path on the left then turn right at the first corner. You'll encounter a variety of enemies along the way such as Burning Dead Archers, Wretched Burning Dead, Bloated Corpsefiend, etc. This dungeon offers a bit of space along its hallways, so you can space yourself and create distance if you're being overwhelmed by enemies. Continue following the main, you'll eventually come across the prisoners as you'll see them marked with the white icon on your map. Once you've freed all six prisoners, make your way to the Profane Halls. You'll eventually reach an area where mobs of Shambling Corpses and other enemies rise from the ground. You have to survive the enemy attack for 30 seconds to dispel the barrier that's blocking your path. Once you've taken care of all the enemies, go through the arch, open the Iron Gate, and continue following the main path.
Upon reaching the Profane Halls, you'll be tasked with finding the Mechanical Box and returning it to the Pedestal. Head down south and clay enemies you encounter along the way. The Mechanical Box can be found at the southwest corner, you'll come across the entrance to the boss room before you reach the Mechanical Box. Once you've retrieved the box, take it back to the Pedestal to open the door. Don't forget to recover some HP by interacting with the Healing Well beside the door.
Upon entering the room, head down and you'll face off against the Tomb Lord. This boss has a variety of attacks you need to look out for. Tomb Lord can summon skeleton minions to aid him in battle. It also has the ability to summon an orb and throw it as an attack, once it hits the ground, it will turn into a tornado and stay on the battlefield for a short while. It's best to create some distance, move around and deal damage to the boss while you take care of the skeleton minions in the area. It also has the ability to summon a bone wall, if this ability traps you, it will limit your movements and possibly make you vulnerable to some attacks. The Tomb Lord can also detonate the bone wall to deal damage. Once you've defeated the Tomb Lord, the dungeon is completed.
