How to complete Halls of the Damned in Diablo 4

Halls of the Damned can be completed by doing:

  • Destroy the Idol of the Overseer and the Seaborn Goddess: 2
  • Travel to the Sepulchrum.
  • Activate the Monolith
  • Defeat the Tomb Lord

It's worth noting that the doors in this dungeon take a bit longer to open, so it's really important to remember that. If you just plan on luring the monsters without actually dealing with them, it can become a narrow passage, and the waves of monsters might end up overwhelming you. At the start of the dungeon, your main objective is to locate and destroy two structures: the Idol of the Overseer and the Seaborn Goddess. These structures can only be reached by using scattered teleporters found in the first area. However, you should be prepared because as you activate the teleporter, the monsters will chase after you. It's a good idea to defeat all the monsters before interacting with the teleporter.

The Idol of the Overseer attacks by shooting projectiles in two different ways each time. It would be beneficial if you can withstand these attacks, unless you want to use up all your potions or constantly dodge. On the other hand, the Seaborn Goddess summons waves that push you away from it. If you have a high resistance, this won't be much of a concern for you. Both structures will summon a powerful monster once their health drops to a certain level. Once you've destroyed both structures, you'll have a long walk ahead of you before reaching the boss room.

The boss of the Halls of the Damned is known as the Tomb Lord. Although this boss is somewhat fragile, it's really important to be mindful of your positioning during the fight. There are two critical things to consider when facing the Tomb Lord. First, be cautious of its blinding area of effect. Stepping on this Area of effect for too long will cause damage, so it's best to avoid it altogether. The second thing to watch out for is the bone walls that the Tomb Lord summons. This can be tricky because the Tomb Lord has the ability to make these walls explode. If you're not careful and end up standing too close to the wall, you'll end up taking a significant amount of damage. If you find yourself surrounded by these walls, try using an ability that can move you far away from them. Alternatively, you can also destroy the walls to create an escape route.

  • Dungeons are instanced domains that offer a sanctuary for brave adventurers. They are thematically related to the region in which they are found, but their layout is randomized.
