Hammer of the Champion is a Side Quest in Diablo 4. Hammer of the Champion can be found at Bear Tribe Refuge. Side Quests are optional missions that players can complete in order to obtain different rewards. Players are usually rewarded XP, and Gold depending on your level. Completing Side Quests in a specific region will also add to the Region Renown. Side Quests can be acquired by encountering various events or interacting with different NPCs.
Retrieve a fabled weapon from Rimescar Cavern.
Greganoch of the Bear Tribe has asked that I recelaim the Grizzly's Maul. The tribe's champion who wielded the weapon was taken to the Rimescar Cavern.

Objectives
- Enter the Rimescar Cavern and acquire the Grizzly's Maul
- Return the Grizzly's Maul to Gregonach
Hammer of the Champion Walkthrough
- Speak to Greganoch in the Bear Tribe Refuge
Speak to Greganoch who will be in the Bear Tribe Refuge and ask him about the tribe. At the end of the dialogue, the quest will be activated.
- Enter the Rimescar Cavern and acquire the Grizzly's Maul
Your next objective location will be south of where Greganoch is. There will be a note underneath your objective that says the Party must conquer Malnok, the Stronghold.
You need to travel to the objective marked in blue on your minimap. When you arrive at the objective location, it will lead you to the Impaled Champion Baltok. Interact with it and it will drop the Grizzly's Maul. Pick it up to complete the objective, then you will be free to leave the area.
- Return the Grizzly's Maul to Gregonach
With the Grizzly's Maul, you can return to the Bear Tribe Refuge using the waypoint. Speak to Greganoch to complete the quest.
