Ice Blades is a Sorceress Skill in Diablo 4. Ice Blades allows Sorceress to conjure a pair of ice blades for 6.0 seconds that rapidly slash enemies for X damage, with a chance to make them Vulnerable. 

NOTE: Cast clean up has been tightened, allowing players to act after its cast sooner as of Patch 1.1.0a.

Ice Blades Diablo 4 Information

Ice Blades belongs to the Sorceress class Skill Tree, and is part of the Conjuration Cluster.

Active Skills can be ranked up to Rank 5. Players can also Enhance and then Upgrade the skill to add new features to its effects.

Active Skills are represented by big square icons in the Skill Tree menu.

Ice Blades Effects in Diablo 4

Ice Blades can be upgraded up to Rank 5, by spending more skill points. Upgrading Ice Blades will further increase its benefits depending on its rank:

Rank 1:

• Damage X [23%]

Rank 2:

• Damage X [25%]

Rank 3:

• Damage X [28%]

Rank 4:

• Damage X [30%]

Rank 5:

• Damage X [32%]

Diablo 4 Enhance & Upgrade for Ice Blades

You can Enhance Ice Blades to add the following effects:

• Enhanced Ice Blades: Ice Blades's Cooldown is reduced by 0.5 second each time it hits a Vulnerable enemy.

After enhancing Ice Blades, you may also Upgrade it, to get the following effects depending on the upgrade you selected. You may only choose 1 of these:

• Invoked Ice Blades: Your Ice Blades gain 10% [+] increased Attack Speed per active Ice Blades
• Summoned Ice Blades: 20% of Enhanced Ice Blades's Cooldown reduction is applied to your other Skills.

Enhancements and Upgrades are represented by diamond shaped icons in the Skill Tree menu

Diablo 4 Ice Blades Enchantment Slot

When a Sorceress completes their Specialization and receives the Enchantment System, they can add Ice Blades to one of the newly available slots. By doing so, they receive the following passive:

Rank 1:

• For every 40 seconds in Cooldowns you spend, you spawn an Ice Blades on a random enemy.

Rank 2:

• For every 40 seconds in Cooldowns you spend, you spawn an Ice Blades on a random enemy.

Rank 3:

• For every 40 seconds in Cooldowns you spend, you spawn an Ice Blades on a random enemy.

Rank 4:

• For every 40 seconds in Cooldowns you spend, you spawn an Ice Blades on a random enemy.

Rank 5:

• For every 40 seconds in Cooldowns you spend, you spawn an Ice Blades on a random enemy.
