Initiate's Decompose

Decompose slows enemies by 50%.

Initiate's Decompose is an Upgrade Necromancer Skill in Diablo 4. Initiate's Decompose allows Necromancers to upgrade to Enhanced Decompose. It allows them to slow Decomposed enemies by 50%. By selecting this upgrade, Necromancers are unable to select Acolyte's Decompose.

NOTE: The slow has been increased from 30% to 50% seconds in Patch 1.1.0a.

Initiate's Decompose Diablo 4 Information

Initiate's Decompose belongs to the Necromancer class Skill Tree, and is part of the Basic Cluster. 

Players have to spend a point on Enhanced Decompose in order to be able to unlock Initiate's Decompose.

It is an improved version of Enhanced Decompose. Enhanced Necromancer Skills, apply to the base Active skills, and Upgraded Necromancer Skills, require players to have the enhanced version in order to be acquired. It is important to note that players may choose one of the two available upgrades per skill, but it is not possible to select both of them. Once one is chosen, the other becomes impossible to select.
