Diablo 4 Khazra Abomination Strategy Writeup
Khazra Abomination has a limited pool of attacks but they can be tricky if you're not mindful. It's also not the slowest boss around and its stronger attack, where it stabs its arm into the ground, can easily catch you off guard. Try to save your dodge for that moment right before it does this attack to move behind him and then unleash your strongest combo. Always be mindful of the poison puddles, and remember that the puddle it creates with the stab stays longer than the others. After depleting around two health segments, its puddles can cover a larger area from to time, regardless of which attack it uses to create them.
Once Khazra has been defeated, he will drop Gold and up to 1 Rare gear item, and 1 Magic gear item.
Attacks & Counters
Attack | Counter |
Phase 1 |
|
Mulch Throw: Khazra Abomination swings its arm to do a melee attack and throws one to two balls of mulch at the same time. They will become poison puddles when they land on the ground. | Move out of the way. Mind the poison puddles. |
Mulch Stab: Khazra Abomination will do a short wind-up by lifting its hand and then proceed to plunge it into the ground in front of him. This creates another poison puddle that lasts longer than the ones he throws. | Move out of the way. Mind the poison puddle. |
Phase 2 | |
Mulch Throw 2: Khazra Abomination swings its arm to do a melee attack and throws three balls of mulch at the same time instead. Occasionally, its poison puddles can now be larger circles, including the one created by its Mulch Stab. | Move out of the way. Mind the poison puddles. |
