Lightning DamageLightning Spear is a Sorceress Skill in Diablo 4. Lightning Spear allows Sorceress to summon a lightning spear that deals X damage per hit for 6 seconds.
NOTE: Stats updated as of Patch 1.0.3, released June 27th.
Lightning Spear Diablo 4 Information
Lightning Spear belongs to the Sorceress class Skill Tree, and is part of the Conjuration Cluster.
Active Skills can be ranked up to Rank 5. Players can also Enhance and then Upgrade the skill to add new features to its effects.
Active Skills are represented by big square icons in the Skill Tree menu.
Lightning Spear Effects in Diablo 4
Lightning Spear can be upgraded up to Rank 5, by spending more skill points. Upgrading Lightning Spear will further increase its benefits depending on its rank:
Rank 1:
- Damage
X [15%]
Rank 2:
- Damage X [17%]
Rank 3:
- Damage X [18%]
Rank 4:
- Damage X [20%]
Rank 5:
- Damage X [21%]
Diablo 4 Enhance & Upgrade for Lightning Spear
You can Enhance Lightning Spear to add the following effects:
- Enhanced Lightning Spear: After Critically Striking, Lightning Spear gains a 5% [+] increased stacking Critical Strike Chance for its duration.
After enhancing Lightning Spear, you may also Upgrade it, to get the following effects depending on the upgrade you selected. You may only choose 1 of these:
- Invoked Lightning Spear: Lightning Spear stuns enemies for 2 seconds when Critically Striking.
- Summoned Lightning Spear: Collecting Crackling Energy increases the damage of your next Lightning Spear cast by 20% [x], up to 160% [x].
Enhancements and Upgrades are represented by diamond shaped icons in the Skill Tree menu
Diablo 4 Lightning Spear Enchantment Slot
When a Sorceress completes their Specialization and receives the Enchantment System, they can add Lightning Spear to one of the newly available slots. By doing so, they receive the following passive:
Rank 1:
- Absorbing Crackling Energy has a 10% chance to conjure a Lightning Spear.
Rank 2:
- Absorbing Crackling Energy has a 10% chance to conjure a Lightning Spear.
Rank 3:
- Absorbing Crackling Energy has a 10% chance to conjure a Lightning Spear.
Rank 4:
- Absorbing Crackling Energy has a 10% chance to conjure a Lightning Spear.
Rank 5:
- Absorbing Crackling Energy has a 10% chance to conjure a Lightning Spear.
