Diablo 4 Maugan's Works Walkthrough
Upon stepping foot into the daunting dungeon, proceed along the clearly marked path that will lead you to a significant task of freeing six imprisoned individuals who are desperately seeking liberation. As you navigate through the dark corridors, be wary of encountering both Bandits and Knights, formidable adversaries that require your utmost caution and skill.
The first prisoner awaits your aid, tied to a pole on the right side of the path. Once their shackles are broken, continue steadfastly until you reach an expansive open area, where the second prisoner is held captive. Beware, for this area is swarming with enemies, presenting a formidable challenge.
Venturing towards the left side of the area, you will come across a room where the third prisoner awaits rescue. Prior to liberating them, it is imperative to eliminate any lurking enemies to ensure their safety. Continuing on, to the left of the previously freed prisoner, lies the fourth prisoner, awaiting deliverance from their confinement. Regrettably, upon entering the subsequent room, you will discover the lifeless body of the fifth prisoner, a grim reminder of the perils that exist within this treacherous place.
Yet, there is hope still, as the final prisoner awaits your arrival on the right side of the open area. Their release will mark a significant milestone in your quest for justice. With all the prisoners now free, a formidable mini-boss, known as the Warmaster, will emerge from the shadows. Prepare yourself for an arduous battle, for defeating the Warmaster is essential to acquiring the key required to unlock the door leading to the deserters' sanctuary.
Having successfully obtained the key and opened the door, press onward towards the Council of Thieves, a group of powerful figures waiting to be confronted. Along the way, you will encounter two levers that, once activated, will unlock a previously inaccessible path, bringing you closer to the ultimate confrontation. Finally, as you reach the end of this newly revealed path, the epic battle against not one, but three bosses will ensue.
Behold the Knight Council, comprised of the Grand Inquisitor, the Sacred Physician, and the Lord Commander. Each possesses unique abilities and combat styles, with the Grand Inquisitor excelling in close-quarters combat, while the other two bosses wield potent spells. It is advisable to prioritize defeating the spellcasting bosses before engaging the Grand Inquisitor, as their ranged attacks pose a significant threat. Thankfully, the Grand Inquisitor's sluggish movements provide you with an opportunity to outmaneuver them while focusing your attention on the remaining adversaries.
Only upon vanquishing all three bosses can you bask in the triumph of completing this treacherous dungeon, emerging as a true hero who has conquered insurmountable odds and restored peace to the forsaken realm.
