Parting Embers is a Main Quest in Diablo 4. Parting Embers can be found at Scosglen. Main Quests are mandatory missions that players must complete in order to finish the storyline and reach the next difficulty level. Main Quests must be done sequentially and are unlocked only after completing the previous Main Quest/s.

  • Speak with Yorin in Braestaig

 

Diablo IV Parting Embers Walkthrough

At the end of Apex of Misery, you defeated Airidah and learned that she told Lilith how to break Astaroth free from his prison. Walk or teleport over to Braestaig and speak to Yorin who can be found just slightly northeast of the Braestaig waypoint. You'll inform him of Airidah's plans and death, after which he'll express a want to inform his father, Donan, as well. 

This short quest will end after your conversation is over, rewarding you with 9,100 XP and 1,320 Gold. If you've finished the Main Quest Stemming the Flow, Buried Secrets will unlock. If you have not, however, your next course of action is to complete Feral Nature.
