Promises is a Main Quest in Diablo 4. Promises can be found at Hawezar. Main Quests are mandatory missions that players must complete in order to finish the storyline and reach the next difficulty level. Main Quests must be done sequentially and are unlocked only after completing the previous Main Quest/s.

  • Meet Neyrelle in the chapel
  • Talk to Lorath

Diablo IV Promises Walkthrough

At the end of What Lies Ahead, you successfully defeated Lilith, but Neyrelle disappeared with the soulstone holding Mephisto. Head northwest into the chapel to look for Neyrelle. She's not here, but Lorath agrees that she might already by at the Vault. 

Head outside and you'll encounter Iosef and a group of Knight Penitent. They turn aggressive, wanting to take Lorath away. Defeat them and when you pick up Prava's Decree, you learn that Reverend Mother Prava believes that your group released a great evil into Sanctuary. When you speak to Lorath, he says that you should head to the vault to find Neyrelle before the Kinghts Penitent do and that he would catch up after burying Donan in Scosglen.

The quest will end here, rewarding you with 28,865 XP and 2,700 Gold. The next quest, A Heavy Burden unlocks shortly after.
