Ruby is a Gem in Diablo 4. Ruby can be crafted used Chipped Ruby and can only be applied to Socketed Equipment. Depending on the type of equipment used, Ruby grants different bonuses. The Jeweler can unsocket your Gems from your gear without damaging them, so you can use them for different gear combinations. In addition to upgrading Armor and Weapons at The Blacksmith, you can also enhance the bonus Resistances and extra Stats of your Rings and Amulets with the Jeweler's help.

How to upgrade Ruby in Diablo 4

Upgrading Ruby to a higher tier requires an investment of 3 Gems and Gold, but it also increases the effectiveness of the Gem when socketed into a piece of gear.

Ruby requires 3 Chipped Ruby and 12,500 Gold to be crafted. Can be upgraded to Flawless Ruby.

      Quick question, I have three chipped rubies, but it won't let me upgrade it to a ruby. Am i missing something, or do i need to be farther in the campaign? This information would be a huge help, plus could help to upgrade the wiki.
