Ranked among the apex predators of the jungle, the Spiritborn is an entirely new class to the Diablo Series. They are battle-hardened, with mystical synergies that could only be awakened deep within the jungles of Nahantu. Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred Spiritborn Overview

 The Spiritborn is a very versatile, fast and aggressive class that can close gaps in an instant and perform high damage skills in the blink of an eye. The main attractive of the Spiritborn is the ability to channel and use one of the four Spirit Guardians. These guardians are very distinct between themselves and provide players with different gameplay styles and mechanics.

Freedom of choice is central to the Spiritborn class. Players can fully invest in one Spirit Guardian or mix and match to create hybrid builds. This adaptability is facilitated by the Spirit Hall, a class mechanic that allows for a blend of abilities from different spirits, enhancing personalization and play style customization.

The Spiritborn uses Glaives, Polearms, and Quarterstaves as its main weapon types.

Pros

+Versatiliy: The Spirit Guardians provide the Spiritborn with different tools to create a well-rounded character or a specialist, depending on the situation. This makes the character suitable for all types of players.

+Mobility: The Spiritborn has a lot of mobility abilities at their disposal, making it a nimble and agile class

Cons

-May be too Versatile for Rookies: The Spiritborn is not a hard class to play, but making a competent build with all the tools it offers may be a bit overwhelming for new players, which may end up creating a not-so-effective jack of all trades.

-Only Two Hand Weapons: The Spiritborn weaponsof choice like Glaives, Polearms, or Quarterstaves, are all two-handed weapons. This limits the options in that regard for the class, and leaves it without an alternative, in the off-hand.

Hitting a marked enemy 10 times clears the mark from them.

Nesekem, the Herald, is a Mythic Unique Glaive exclusive the Spiritborn and allows its wielder to mark targets. Marked targets become Vulnerable, while also making your attacks against them Critical and Overpower. This weapon pair particularly well with the Key Passive Vital Strikes, which increases the next direct damage done to a Vulnerable enemy by 100%, while also healing you for 2% of your Maximum Health and granting you 5 Vigor.

Apex is another passive that increases damage to Vulnerable enemies, and doubles its effect against Elite enemies. On the defensive side, spending points on Diminishment allows to receive reduced damage from Vulnerable enemies.

 

Shattered Vow

The Shattered Vow is a mythic unique polearm that the Barbarian, Druid, and Spiritborn can use. You will notice that some of these stats are geared towards basic stats like increased Damage Over time, Maximum Life, and Damage to Healthy Enemies. However, some of these stats have bonuses that apply to "berserking" including a Lucky Hit and Attack Speed. Typically, we know that Barbarians are the only class that gets the Berserking effects. We haven't tried this yet to see if it will work on the Spiritborn but the general boosts it provides makes it a good weapon for when you don't have anything Spiritborn-specific.

The unique modifier also grants you the ability to execute enemies that are afflicted by more Damage over Time than their remaining life. The good thing is that the Spiritborn can inflict Poison skills which inflict Damage Over Time like the Touch of Death, Scourge, Toxic Skin, Stinger, and Withering Fist. These skills will work well with the Shattered Vow so you can execute enemies faster.

Sepozontec is a Unique Quarterstaff for the Spiritborn that empowers any of the four Basic skills ( Rock Splitter, Thrash, Thunderspike, and Withering Fist), by increasing its damage massively and always using their 3rd attack, which have an enhanced effect. Besides this, every third cast unleashes triple strikes, rendering the 3rd cast of any basic skill even more deadlier.

They become free to cast, but deal up to 30% less damage based on their original cost.

When a Spiritborn cast one of those four skills with Maximum Vigor, they consume it all to return to its former full damage, while also be cast at their largest size and become guaranteed Critical Strikes, with increased Critical Strike Damage for any point of Vigor that has been spent this way.

Wushe Nak Pa is a Unique Glaive available for the Spiritborn, that modifies Ultimate skills of the spirit warrior. First, it increases or amplifies its Primary Spirit Hall with 50-100%  Potency for 15 seconds, and second, it grants any ultimate an additional Type. But that's not all, raw damage of ultimates is amped up, while it also allows them to restore your Primary Resource when cast. It grants 2 or 3 points in Supremacy. Players that use this weapon, can also spend points in any of the Ultimate cluster passives such as the mentioned Supremacy, as well as Spiritual Attunement, Resolution, Initiative, Sustenance or Intricacy, which all of them affect or grants benefits based off of Ultimate Skills.

Craze of the Dead God are a pair of Unique Glvoes exclsuive to the Spiritborn. They change the way players receive damage by transforming direct damage received into poisoning over the ext 10 seconds. There is a drawbackto this, because the damage is increased by up to a 30%. However, Direct damage suffered has up to a 25% chhance based on your poisoned Life to infect an enemy with Touch of Death.

Craze of the Dead God also grants points to Touch of Death, Nourishment, and Antivenom, which are Skills that are related to Poison and the Centipede Spirit Animal. Nourishment and Antivenom are passives that increase your healing and your poison damage whenever you heal, and increases your Poison Resistance, respectively.

 

Jacinth Shell

Every second, your active Cooldowns now drain 10% of your Maximum Life to reduce their durations by 3 seconds.

Jacinth Shell is a unique chest armor for the Spiritborn. Its unique effect allows to be healed any time you spend Vigor, but it also allows your active cooldowns to drain 10% of your maximum life for every second to reduce their Cooldown durations by 3. It may be difficult for certain players to find the correct use for this piece of equipment, but amog the other affixes, it increases the amount of Maximum Life by a considerable amount, increases damage reduction while injured, and grant a small amount of Life on hit. It also grants 2 or 3 levels of Endurance, a passive skill that grants Vigor whenever a Defensive Skill is cast.

Spiritborn Class Spirit Hall Mechanic in Diablo 4

 

In Diablo 4, each class has a unique mechanic that sets it apart from the others, and for the Spiritborn, it's the Spirit Hall system. This system allows players to choose up to two spirit guardians to provide passive benefits, and alter the way combat works.

How to unlock the Class Spirit Hall mechanic

Players can unlock the system after completing the class Specialization quest The Sacred Hunt at level 15, enabling players to select a spirit guardian. Once players reach level 30, they will be able to choose a second one.
