Diablo 4 Sunken Ruins Walkthrough
Upon entering the dungeon, you'll find yourself within the Sodden Crypt. This is a large dungeon that will require you to explore certain areas a lot in order to complete objectives. It's almost impossible to get swarmed here as the areas are wide and you can easily reposition yourself to deal with the enemies. Your first objective is to look for two Stone Carvings and return them to the pedestals. Note that you can only carry one Stone Carving at a time, as carrying another one will drop the initial Stone Carving you just picked up. You'll have to pick one up, place it on a pedestal, then look for the other one. After placing both Stone Carvings on the pedestals, the barrier blocking your path to the next area will be dispelled.
Proceed to the next area and make your way to the Waterlogged Depths. Once you reach the area, you'll need to seek and destroy three Skeletal Constructs. These constructs are considered elite enemies and can be difficult to deal with their poison AoE attack that can blind and prevent you from attacking. They can also summon bone walls to protect themselves from your attacks. Aside from its variety of attacks, they are also protected by various monsters in the area, and once they reach a certain HP threshold, more elite monsters will spawn in the area to protect them.
After destroying all three Skeletal Structures, an elite monster called Tomas will spawn in the area, marked with the skull icon on your mini-map. This dungeon doesn't have any bosses so once you've successfully slain Tomas, the dungeon is completed.

Sunken Ruins Notes & Tips
- Dungeons are instanced domains that offer a sanctuary for brave adventurers. They are thematically related to the region in which they are found, but their layout is randomized. Each Dungeon has its own Boss as well as a related Legendary Aspect that they reward, once completed. Players are also awarded 30 Renown points by completing a dungeon.
