The Bear of Blackweald is a Side Quest in Diablo 4. The Bear of Blackweald can be found at The Scar, Scosglen. Side Quests are optional missions that players can complete in order to obtain different rewards. Players are usually rewarded XP, and Gold depending on your level. Completing Side Quests in a specific region will also add to the Region Renown. Side Quests can be acquired by encountering various events or interacting with different NPCs.

The Bear of Blackweald Walkthrough

Complete Chasing Embers to activate the quest. You will then need to locate Torben at the Scar for your first objective. His location will be marked on the map. 

  • Speak to Torben

Once you reach Torben, speak to him to complete the objective. You will tell him to find Stana. 

  • Enter the Seared Hollow

The entrance to the Seared Hollow will then appear. Interact with the entrance to continue. 

  • Find Stana with Torben

Head deeper into the Seared Hollow and after clearing the first wave of enemies you will find Stana guarded in front of two Pyres. 

  • Speak with Stana

Speak to her to continue. 

  • Defeat Blackweald Company recruits
  • Defeat Stana

The short dialogue will be followed by a combat encounter. You will need to defeat both Stana and the Blackweald recruits. You will engage in a boss fight against Stana, Blackweald's Sovereign.  

  • Confront Stana

Once her boss HP bar is cleared, you can confront her.

  • Speak with Torben

Complete the quest by speaking with Torben
