Reject the Mother is a Side Quest in Diablo 4. Reject the Mother can be found at Tusmaa Rift, Dry Steppes. Discover a trampled note, bearing a defiant message that refuses to be silenced. Side Quests are optional missions that players can complete in order to obtain different rewards. Players are usually rewarded XP, and Gold depending on your level. Completing Side Quests in a specific region will also add to the Region Renown. Side Quests can be acquired by encountering various events or interacting with different NPCs.

Use the Emote "No" (equip it on your quick menu first) to complete this quest.

The Side Quest features a single objective that needs to be completed.

Objective: Reject Lilith at her secret shrine

To fulfill this objective, head north towards the Abahru Canyon. Once there, locate the secret shrine dedicated to Lilith. Interact with the statue of Lilith and perform the "No" emote in front of it. This act will signify your rejection of Lilith and conclude the quest. Additionally, it will trigger the appearance of an Heretic's Cache chest, which you can then open to claim your rewards.

By rejecting Lilith at her secret shrine and completing this sole objective, you will successfully finish the Side Quest and gain access to the Heretic's Cache chest.
