Blighted Corpse Explosion

Corpse Explosion becomes a Darkness skill and, instead of exploding, releases a vile miasma dealing X [95%] Shadow Damage over 6 seconds.

Blighted Corpse Explosion is an Upgrade Necromancer Skill in Diablo 4. Blighted Corpse Explosion allows Necromancers to upgrade Enhanced Corpse Explosion. It changes the skill to a Darkness skill and a vile miasma instead of an explosion. Said miasma deals Shadow damage over time. By selecting this upgrade, Necromancers are unable to select Plagued Corpse Explosion.

 

Blighted Corpse Explosion Diablo 4 Information

Blighted Corpse Explosion belongs to the Necromancer class Skill Tree, and is part of the Corpse & Macabre (1st Cluster) Cluster. 

Players have to spend a point on Enhanced Corpse Explosion in order to be able to unlock Blighted Corpse Explosion.

It is an improved version of Enhanced Corpse Explosion. Enhanced Necromancer Skills, apply to the base Active skills, and Upgraded Necromancer Skills, require players to have the enhanced version in order to be acquired. It is important to note that players may choose one of the two available upgrades per skill, but it is not possible to select both of them. Once one is chosen, the other becomes impossible to select.

      Does this count as “blight” for the purpose of using the blight enhancement node that causes enemies in the affected area to take 15% more damage from you and your minions? That is, if you select said node for enhanced blight (as in the skill “Blight”) will blighted corpse explosion have the same effect on the damage your minions deal to enemies within blighted corpse explosion’s AoE?
