Paranormal Blood Surge

If an enemy is damaged by Blood Surge's nova while you are Healthy, then gain 1 stack of Overwhelming Blood. When you have 5 stacks of Overwhelming Blood, your next Blood Surge Overpowers.

Paranormal Blood Surge is an Upgrade Necromancer Skill in Diablo 4. Paranormal Blood Surge allows Necromancers to upgrade Enhanced Blood Surge. It grants Necromancers the ability to earn stacks of Overwhelming Blood when damaging an enemy with Blood Surge's nova, while Healthy. When 5 stacks of Overwhelming Blood are earned, your next cast of Blood Surge will overpower. By selecting this upgrade, Necromancers are unable to select Supernatural Blood Surge.

 

Paranormal Blood Surge Diablo 4 Information

Paranormal Blood Surge belongs to the Necromancer class Skill Tree, and is part of the Core Cluster. 

Players have to spend a point on Enhanced Blood Surge in order to be able to unlock Paranormal Blood Surge.

It is an improved version of Enhanced Blood Surge. Enhanced Necromancer Skills, apply to the base Active skills, and Upgraded Necromancer Skills, require players to have the enhanced version in order to be acquired. It is important to note that players may choose one of the two available upgrades per skill, but it is not possible to select both of them. Once one is chosen, the other becomes impossible to select.

Paranormal Blood Surge grants the following effects to Enhanced Blood Surge:

  • If an enemy is damaged by Blood Surge's nova while you are Healthy, then gain 1 stack of Overwhelming Blood. When you have 5 stacks of Overwhelming Blood, your next Blood Surge Overpowers.
