Ice Armor is a Sorceress Skill in Diablo 4. Ice Armor grants barrier of ice to absorbs 30% of Base Life in damage for 6 seconds. 10% of damage dealt is added to Barrier.
Ice Armor Diablo 4 Information
Ice Armor belongs to the Sorceress class Skill Tree, and is part of the Defensive Cluster.
Active Skills can be ranked up to Rank 5. Players can also Enhance and then Upgrade the skill to add new features to its effects.
Active Skills are represented by big square icons in the Skill Tree menu.
Ice Armor Effects in Diablo 4
Ice Armor can be upgraded up to Rank 5, by spending more skill points. Upgrading Ice Armor will further increase its benefits depending on its rank:

Diablo 4 Enhance & Upgrade for Ice Armor
You can Enhance Ice Armor to add the following effects:
- Enhanced Ice Armor: While Ice Armor is active, your Mana Regeneration is increased by 25% [x].
After enhancing Ice Armor, you may also Upgrade it, to get the following effects depending on the upgrade you selected. You may only choose 1 of these:
- Mystical Ice Armor: Damage against Vulnerable enemies contributes 50% more to Ice Armor's Barrier.
- Shimmering Ice Armor: Enemies that hit you while Ice Armor is active have a 15% chance to become Frozen for 3 seconds.
Enhancements and Upgrades are represented by diamond shaped icons in the Skill Tree menu
Diablo 4 Ice Armor Enchantment Slot
When a Sorceress completes their Specialization and receives the Enchantment System, they can add Ice Armor to one of the newly available slots. By doing so, they receive the following passive:
Rank 1:
- Upon getting hit, you have a 5% chance to apply Ice Armor.
Rank 2:
- Upon getting hit, you have a 5% chance to apply Ice Armor.
Rank 3:
- Upon getting hit, you have a 5% chance to apply Ice Armor.
Rank 4:
- Upon getting hit, you have a 5% chance to apply Ice Armor.
Rank 5:
- Upon getting hit, you have a 5% chance to apply Ice Armor.
