Diablo 4 Hope's Light Walkthrough

Hope's Light is a lighthouse found past a chain of mini-islands and shipwrecks along the north/northwestern coast of the Scosglen region. While mostly linear,, several obstacles along the path to the lighthouse will require you to find other ways of navigating to it.

Destroy the water-logged barricade at the entrance, turn left use the sail of the sunken ship to get to the next island. Follow the path curving to the left and then the north while defeating the Drowned enemies along the way. You will eventually reach the wreckage of a large ship, with a Winch next to the mast. Clear any enemies nearby and then activate the winch to create a path forward. You must then survive an onslaught from the Drowned for 40 seconds. This survival segment gets progressively harder as the clock counts down, so stay vigilant.

Activating the winch will have moved the boom of the sail towards the right, allowing you to climb it to the next section of land.

However, this ship is missing a winch which you will need to find in order to progress forward. Go back down to the shrine and take the path south of it to find a Hullsmasher elite by a bell. Defeat it, along with the rest of the enemies that spawn and then check the northeast section of the area to find the winch.

Make your way back to the second ship and replace the broken winch. This will begin another 40 second survival segment, this one being much harder with several elites from the get go. Watch out for the ripples forming on the ground and be sure to get away from them immediately, as they will soon burst into a powerful geyser dealing lots of damage. Once the countdown is over and the enemies are cleared, you will be able to cross the ship's lowered gangway on the left towards the foot of the lighthouse.

Clear the enemies at the bottom level and grab the Healing Well by the set of stairs if you need it, then climb up to begin the stronghold's Boss encounter against Tidewitch Ne'gana.

Hope's Light Boss Fight

Tidewitch Ne'gana is a very sturdy boss with a lot of health and some powerful attacks. The most important thing to lookout for are the ripples forming on the ground around the arena. Some of these will spawn Wretches who will constantly pelt you with ranged attacks, while others will burst into geysers, similar to the second survival segment from earlier.

The best way to approach this boss fight is to constantly move to Ne'gana's rear throughout the fight. Her standard attack is a powerful smash with her weapon which not only deals a lot of damage, but will also release a projectile which will push you back quite a distance, opening you up to getting hit by the geysers if you don't react quickly enough. Try to constantly switch between dealing damage to the boss and clearing the summoned Wretches. While these Wretches deal minimal damage, their numbers can quickly overwhelm you unless they are kept in check.

Once the boss is defeated, climb the ladder on the left side of the arena and then another one to reach the lighthouse beacon and ignite it. Climb back down the second ladder and interact with the Wanderer's Shrine next to it to conquer Light's Hope, liberating the stronghold.

Completing Light's Hope will also unlock the Level 46 Flooded Depths dungeon, right where you fought Ne'gana.
