The Sorceress shapes the elements into whatever form is necessary to ensure victory, from hurling bolts of lightning, impaling her foes upon jagged spikes of ice, and raining flaming meteors down from the sky

When leveling up, Core Stats give the following bonuses to all Classes:
- Strength: +1 Armor per point
- Intelligence: +0.05% All Resistance per point
- Willpower: +0.1% Healing Received and +0.25% Overpower Damage per point
- Dexterity: +0.025% Dodge Chance per point
The following three stats are the most important for the Sorceress:
- Intelligence: Increases damage dealt. The Sorceress gets x0.1% Skill Damage per point of Intelligence.
- Dexterity: Increases critical chance. The Sorceress gets x0.02% Critical Strike Chance per point of Dexterity.
- Willpower: Improved Mana recovery. The Sorceress gets x0.1% Resource Generation per point of Willpower.
Diablo 4 Sorceress Overview
The Sorceress is a high-risk, high-reward class that deals excellent elemental damage by casting fire, cold, and lightning spells. They are very fragile, but their spells synergize well with burning, chill, or freeze effects. Sorceresses are best suited for crowd control abilities, especially with their cold spells. Lightning spells are balanced in terms of damage and controlling encounters.

Frost
Frost Skills Chill enemies, reducing their Movement Speed. Chilling enemies will eventually Freeze them, causing them to be unable to act.

Shock
Shock Skills use Lightning to defeat enemies. These Skills have many ways to reduce Cooldowns and benefit especially well when Critically Striking.

Pros
+ Uncanny Mobility: The Sorceress has many abilities that promote mobility and makes the once slow and static Sorceress a great amount of options regarding mobility.
+ Crowd Control Expert: The Sorceress may be the best Crowd Control Class in Diablo 4.
+ Master of AoEs: The Sorceress is an Area of Effect (AoE) master, having many abilities that deal damage in wide areas, allowing her to quickly dispose of zones full of enemies.

Cons
- Mana Hunger: Depending on Mana for her Skills, the Sorceress has to be wise about how to use it, and read situations accordingly.
- Not the best Team Player: The Sorceress focuses on herself and not too much on the team. This makes her a character that depends on other, specially in Multiplayer games.
- Close Combat: The Sorceress isn't known for being a bulky character, although a few abilities can grant her more survivability, close combat it is to be avoided at all costs.

Sorceress Enchantment System in Diablo 4
The Sorceress has access to Enchantment slots that can be used to enhance their abilities with powerful magical effects, allowing them to bolster their build strengths or granting some branched out abilities, to create a versatile build.
Once you reach level 15, you automatically acquire Priority Quest Legacy of the Magi. This questline is a requirement to unlock the Enchantment Slots system.
Enchantment Slots are small but powerful additions to your build. You can slot certain skills for their offensive, defensive, resource, or utility effects. They can bolster your build or extend its functionality.
- Skills must have at least one Skill Point in them to be used (either from the Skill Tree or through gear).
- You can use a skill on your action bar and in one Enchantment Slot at the same time.
- A skill's Ranks, Enhanced and Upgrade choices carry through when placed into an Enchantment slot.
- Choices can be swapped in and out of the Enchantment Slots at any time.
- The first slot unlocks at level 15, the second at level 30.

Besides the active skills, Sorceress can spend points to learn passive abilities, which are always active once learned. All passive abilities have 3 different levels in which they improve the bonus they provide. To level up a passive, players have to spend another point on them when leveling up.

For the enchantment skills, do the extra modifiers affect them? ex. Fireball exploding for 50% damage. Do the Enhanced etc fireball skills have an effect too?
