Abattoir of Zir Rewards in Diablo 4

By participating in Abattoir of Zir, you can earn the following rewards:

  • New Glyph: Tears of Blood. An upgradable Unique Glyph that grants the Bonus where every 5 corestats purchased within range, can grant the player increased damage along with an increased percentage bonus to all Rare nodes within range. This increases by 10% every 10 levels.
  • 1000 Paragon Glyph Experience Points
  • Craft a Bloodforged Sigil + Tier: This refers to the ability to craft a Bloodforged Sigil that is one level higher than the previously completed dungeon.

The second and third rewards are repeating rewards that you can get each time you complete The Abattoir of Zir. You will also earn more Sigil Powder each time you complete a higher dungeon tier as well as more Paragon Glyph XP.  Find more information on Tears of Blood below.

Tears of Blood

Level 1

Radius Size: 4

♦ Next Radius Increase at level: 50

Bonus:

♦ For every 5 Core Stats purchased within range, you gain 2.00% increased damage.

♦ Grants +50.0% bonus to all Rare nodes within range. Bonus increases by 10% for every 10 levels.

The Tears of Blood Unique Glyph is the time-limited reward that players can unlock after completing the Abattoir of Zir. This is a powerful glyph that offers increased damage based on the Core Stats unlocked within its 4-tile radius, as well as an increase to the Rare nodes within range.

This Unique Glyph can be leveled up to 200 which is 10 times more than the normal Glyphs available in Diablo 4. This works well with the Abattoir of Zir dungeon because it provides 1000 Experience Points (which is 661 more than other Nightmare Dungeons). This allows players to rack up enough points to level up the Unique Glyph faster.

With continuous grinding of the Abattoir of Zir, players will be able to max out Tears of Blood in no time.

What to Expect in Abattoir of Zir Diablo 4?

Developers have announced a breakdown of the dungeon event. This will be a timed event where players can enter the event dungeon to clear as many demons and fill up the progress bar. Complete the progress bar to spawn the Elites and clear the boss-like enemies before the 10-minute timer runs out.

This means that the faster you kill the waves of enemies, the less time you will need to fill up the bar. Once the bar is full, elite enemies called Bloodseekers will spawn inside the dungeon and you will need to defeat them. These elites are stronger and possess more abilities than normal Nightmare Dungeon elites. These Bloodseekers are the corrupt version of the Wanderer or any of the 5 available classes in Diablo 4.

Being a Nightmare Dungeon, the Abattoir of Zir is unforgiving. When you die, you will lose all progress. If you are in a party and one of your teammates dies, the dungeon automatically ends, making you lose all progress. Note that enemies throughout the dungeon do not drop items until you complete the whole dungeon.

Preparing for Abattoir of Zir Diablo 4?

  • Take note of the time in the Abattoir of Zir. The biggest factor that will affect the outcome of the Nightmare Dungeon is how fast you clear out the mobs. Keeping an ideal pace will take about 3-4 skills in rotation that will leave you enough time to go through the entire dungeon while keeping enough to fight the bosses. Yes, the boss is also included on the timer to beat Abattoir of Zir.
  • Make sure to apply all buffs before you enter the Abattoir of Zir. When you enter the dungeon, the timer will start right away. This means that if you happen to forget to apply your buffs, this will take away precious seconds from you. It's always good practice to prepare your character or party right before you enter the dungeon. This also means stacking up on Elixirs.
  • It is okay to repeat a tier. If you feel like your build barely made it out of the last run, or you know that your current build needs more upgrades before you can take on a higher-level run, it is okay to repeat the same Nightmare Dungeon tier. Doing this will help your character earn experience points that you can use and earn loots that can improve your current build. Items don't drop unless you complete the dungeon. Dying only means that you'll lose any progress so it's better to repeat a run than die trying a higher tier.
