Diablo 4 Helltide Mystery Chests Rewards

The rewards found on Mystery Chests, as is the case with most of the loot in Diablo 4, is random. However, in Tier IV, or Torment Difficulty, you are guaranteed to get a Fiend Rose as well as a Forgotten Soul, which are great crafting items to upgrade your gear.

Opening Mystery Chests is one of the best ways to farm for Legendary and better gear.

Diablo 4 Helltide Mystery Chests Spawn Locations

There are a total of 32 possible spawn locations for Mystery Chests, which are spread among 12 regions, which in turn, have about 2 to 4 spawn location. Unlike the regular Chests in the Helltide event, Mystery Chests ARE NOT marked in the map, until you are really close to them. 

For example: If Helltide takes place in the subregion of Frigid Expanse, in Fractured Peaks, players will have to search the three possible spawn locations in order to find the Mystery Chest.

Finally, note that the mystery chest location will change on the hour.

So if a Helltide event runs from 11.30 to 12.30, at 12.00 o'clock the spawn location will change during the event. Players should be aware of this, in order to unlock it before it spawns somewhere else. This, however, means that if players unlock the chest before the hour, then a new chest will spawn, granting players the possibility to open a second chest during that same helltide run.

How many Helltide Mystery Chests are in Diablo 4?

There are a total of 32 possible Mystery Chests locations throughout Sanctuary. All of them have a fixed location, only existing in the open world and never inside instanced locations such as Dungeons and Cellars, but they are possible.

• Hawezar - 4
• Kehjistan - 10
• Scosglen - 8
