Puncture is a Rogue Skill in Diablo 4. Puncture allows Rogues to deal damage by throwing blades a short distance. Every 3rd cast it slows enemies. Note that Critical Strikes will always slow. Requires dual wielded weapons.

Puncture Diablo 4 Information

Puncture belongs to the Rogue class Skill Tree, and is part of the Basic Cluster.

Active Skills can be ranked up to Rank 5. Players can also Enhance and then Upgrade the skill to add new features to its effects.

Active Skills are represented by big square icons in the Skill Tree menu.

Puncture Effects in Diablo 4

Puncture can be upgraded up to Rank 5, by spending more skill points. Upgrading Puncture will further increase its benefits depending on its rank:

Rank 1:

• Damage X [21%]

Rank 2:

• Damage X [23%]

Rank 3:

• Damage X [25%]

Rank 4:

• Damage X [27%]

Rank 5:

• Damage X [29%]

Diablo 4 Enhance & Upgrade for Puncture

You can Enhance Puncture to add the following effects:

• Enhanced Puncture: Gain 2 Energy when Puncture damages a Crowd Controlled enemy.

After enhancing Puncture, you may also Upgrade it, to get the following effects depending on the upgrade you selected. You may only choose 1 of these:

• Primary Puncture: Every 3rd cast of Puncture will also ricochet up to 2 times. Critical Strikes will always ricochet.
• Fundamental Puncture: Puncture now throws 3 blades in a spread, each dealing 35% of its base damage. Hitting an enemy with at least 2 blades at once makes them Vulnerable for 2 seconds.
