The Hunter’s Chase is a Seasonal Quest in Diablo 4. The Hunter’s Chase is a part of the Season of Blood and can be found at Ked Bardu, Dry Steppes, and guides players through a new season feature in the game: Vampiric Powers. This quest also introduces a new character, Hunter Erys. Seasonal Quests can be categorized as Priority Quests, Side Quests, or Main Quests but are only available if players wish to partake in the available Season. Quest in the game provides important side content missions that unlock new content related to the season, unique rewards and can lead to more Quests.

The Hunter’s Chase Walkthrough Diablo 4
This quest is activated immediately after the completion of Blood Money. Track the quest to follow its objectives and display the location quest markers on your map.
- Speak to the Magistrate in Ked Bardu
Your first objective for this quest takes you back to Ked Bardu. Travel back to the Magistrate's office and prepare for a battle. Once you enter the office, head to the next room and someone will ask you to lend quickly him a hand.
- Fight off the ambush
Clear out the room of hostile enemies in the area to progress
- Speak with the Stranger
Once you have helped clear the area, the person in the room, now revealed to be Hunter Erys, can be interacted with. Speak to her to ask 'What's happening here?' and progress. She will tell you that she was also looking for the Magistrate and to have a look around.
- Search for Clues
Once this objective is active, you will have a few active areas that you can interact with in the room. These areas will also be marked on your mini-map. Interact with the Corrupted Note, the Blood-filled Well, and the Crude Journal to continue.
- Speak to Erys
Speak to Erys again after searching for clues. You will ask 'Do we know where to find the Magistrate?' Following the dialogue, a guide for Vampiric Powers will pop up.
- Equip a Vampiric Power
After reading through the guide, you will need to bring up your Character menu with your available Vampiric Powers to equip one. Note the Activation Cost. To view all Vampiric Powers, visit the Vampiric Powers page here. Equiping a Vampiric Power immediately completes the quest and begins the next one on the questline: Summons of the Deathless
