Diablo 4 Astaroth Strategy Writeup
Astaroth faces you atop a fire-spitting Cerberus-like beast that you will encounter again later on during the Quest Fangs of Corruption. It isn't incredibly fast, at least during its first phase. Beware of the meteors he summons, you can see where they will land and will linger in fire pools for a moment, you will have to evade them. Another recurring attack is the beast's fire breath, players can easily avoid this attack by getting behind or to the side of him.
Once you remove 1/3 of his health, Astaroth enters his second phase. After running away, pursue him. He swill start acting a bit more aggressively. Summoning even more meteors, and casting them much more frequently. He may also summon some Warg minions to fight you. Players will have to constantly be moving to evade all the fire pools as well as the fire breaths.
Talk to Doran when the fight is over.
Once Astaroth has been defeated, players will be rewarded with Gold and up to 1 Legendary gear item, and 1 random rarity gear item.
