Diablo 4 Echo of Lilith Strategy Writeup

This is the improved and final version of Lilith players will face. As the vanilla version, she uses both her arms and wings as weapons, as well as tearing down the ground using her demonic powers. The different is that all her attacks have become much more powerful, faster and even cover more ground than before.

The first phase plays incredibly similar to her story-version. She still summons minions, scratches the floor, comes down with force performing aerial attacks, etc. The only difference is everything is done with more viciousness. She summons more minions, her ground scratches cover more ground and come from other angles. The only attack that is quite the same as before is her one-two wing combo.

The second phase, that takes place once her first form is defeated, is way more dangerous. She spawns way more damaging blood unto the floor, as well as moving faster than before.

Her Fear Flight, in which she flies across the battlefield while covering it with corrupted blood, has widened its reach to the border in which she cuts open the floor. You will have to stay on the crumbling side and as soon as the blood is gone, move to the other side to avoid an instant K.O. by falling to your death.

Regardless, the crumbling area isn't as safe as in her previous version. Besides the collapsing, which you will have to keep in mind, she also creates a blood explosion on the "safe side". So don't relax once you have gone past the corrupted area, and be on the lookout for the blood explosion to avoid it.

Note that this is an EXTREMELY difficult fight - Echo of Lilith's attacks can easily one-shot you, forcing you to restart the entire fight. After all, she is the real final boss of the game.

It may be wise to respec before fighting her to be able to maximize your Build before the confrontation, as well as checking all Legendary Aspects in order to be at the fullest of your capabilities.

Attacks & Counters

Attack Counter
Phase 1

Minion Summon: Lilith will summon a single powerful minion to do her bidding -
Ground Destroyer: An improved version of the ground tear, this time it creates more slashes on the ground, leaving less area to avoid the attack. Move to the areas that are not slashed to evade it.
Phase 2
Fear Flight: Lilith flies towards you, and as she flies the area becomes corrupted and blood emerges to both sides. Lilith closes her wings around her and unleashes them quickly creating a single tear in front of her. This breaks the ground behind her, limiting the battlefield area Move away from the corrupted area., and stand in the soon-to-be crumbling area. Return to the battlefield as soon as the corrupted area becomes clean again, otherwise, you'll fall to your death.
Whirlwind Strike: Lilith flies in a whirlwind fashion and strikes the ground. The whirlwind effect may suck you in, use Evade to distance yourself from her.

I needed to tweak my build for Elias and....the other guy. So I expect to have to do this for Überlillith too. Diablo is no game of skill in combat like say Sekiro, its a game of tweaking your build and gear. So it fits.

When a boss requires specific builds to beat in an ARPG, it's simply poorly designed. Blizzard needs to take lessons from Grinding Gear Games on how to design fair but difficult UBER bosses. This fight is a joke.

there is no way they don't nerf this boss. only a handful of builds can actually beat this boss solo... like bone spear necro. don't even waste your time with it if you're not playing a top meta build.

Hey guys, I’ve been playing Skyrim for a while now and I love it. It’s such a great game with so much to do and explore. But there’s one thing that really bothers me: the Echo of Lilith.

For those who don’t know, the Echo of Lilith is a secret boss that you can find in the Echo of Hatred dungeon, which is hidden somewhere in the Reach. She’s supposed to be the uber boss of Diablo IV, but somehow she ended up in Skyrim. I don’t know how or why, maybe it’s a crossover event or something.

Anyway, I decided to check her out, thinking she would be a fun challenge. Boy, was I wrong. She’s the most unfair, overpowered, and frustrating enemy I’ve ever faced in any game. She has two phases, and each one is worse than the other.

In the first phase, she uses her arms and wings to slash, stab, and smash you. She also summons minions and tears down the ground with her demonic powers. She can kill you in one or two hits, and she has a ton of health. You can barely scratch her with your weapons or spells.

In the second phase, she spawns blood on the floor that damages you over time. She also moves faster and creates blood explosions that can one-shot you. She also does this thing where she flies across the battlefield while covering it with corrupted blood. If you touch the blood or the collapsing floor, you die instantly.

I’ve tried everything to beat her: different builds, different weapons, different shouts, different potions, different followers, different strategies. Nothing works. She always kills me before I can even get her to half health. It’s impossible.

I don’t understand how Bethesda thought this was a good idea. How are we supposed to beat her? Is there a secret trick or a hidden weakness? Is there a mod that makes her easier? Is there a way to skip her altogether?

Please Bethesda, do something about this. Nerf her, buff us, or remove her from the game. She’s ruining my Skyrim experience. She’s not fun, she’s not fair, she’s not balanced. She’s just annoying and frustrating.

Has anyone else encountered her? How did you deal with her? Do you have any tips or advice? Please share them with me. I’m desperate.

Thanks for reading my rant. Sorry for the long post.

I was able to beat her with the class I picked at the beginning of the game and end game gear. Once her health bar is depleted you'll be able to leave the boss arena.

                Hope this helps! GL
