Genbar, The Shrine Keeper is a Boss in Diablo 4. Genbar, The Shrine Keeper is located at Abahru Canyon. Genbar, The Shrine Keeper is a follower of Elias. Bosses are special Enemies that can be defeated to complete Quests, progress through the game, and to acquire special Equipment. However, there are Bosses not-related to the main quests and can be found as a side activity or even roaming the world.

- This is NOT an optional boss, and has to be fought in order to progress the story

- Once players defeat Genbar, players will be rewarded with Gold and up to 1-2 Rare gear items, and sometimes 1 Magic gear item.

During phase one, Genbar will summon smaller enemies to target you, players can easily defeat those monsters and attack him as well as he gets momentarily vulnerable while he is summoning the smaller enemies. Once you get him to half health, he will head to the altar and seek guidance from Elias, and he summons Mahmon to target you as well.
During phase two, Genbar leaves large demonic markings on the floor that explodes, this covers a large area in the arena and is clearly telegraphed in red so players will be able to see it and avoid it.
Once Genbar has been defeated, he will drop Gold and up to 1-2 Rare gear items, and sometimes 1 Magic gear item.
