High Council is a Boss in Diablo 4. High Council is located at the Level 50 Capstone Dungeon, Cathedral of Light. High Council is an improved version of the Knight Council, and consists of four different types of Knights. Bosses are special Enemies that can be defeated to complete Quests, progress through the game, and to acquire special Equipment. However, there are Bosses not-related to the main quests and can be found as a side activity or even roaming the world.

- Quest: The High Council is the middle boss at the Cathedral of Light, and has to be defeated to complete World Tier 3: Nightmare

Diablo 4 High Council Strategy Writeup
The High Council is a team of four Knights that engage players in the middle of the Cathedral of Light Capstone Dungeon. They are a four-knight team composed of the Sacred Physician, Grand Inquisitor, Devoted Champion and the Lord Commander. They engage the player all at once and have to be defeated in order to progress through the dungeon.
- Sacred Physician is a powerful holy healer, should be prioritized first to avoid him restoring the other knights' health
- Devoted Champion is a melee fighter that employs a massive shield. Closes distance by using leaping attacks, uses his shield for protection.
- Grand Inquisitor uses lightning magic to deal damage. Fights at range.
- Lord Commander is a hulking knight, based on the dreadknight enemy type. Deals massive damage, but his attacks are slow.
The Lord Commander should be last one standing, as killing the others, will bring them back with a reduced health bar after a short while.
Once they are all gone, don't relax, a horde of Clerics will enter the area. They are common mobs and have no special properties, but try not be caught off guard by their entrance.
