Knight Council is a Boss in Diablo 4. Knight Council is located at Heretics Asylum. Light's Refuge and Maugan's Works. Knight Council is a three-knight team that it can be composed of any combination of the Lord Commander, Devoted Champion, Sacred Physician or Grand Inquisitor. Bosses are special Enemies that can be defeated to complete Quests, progress through the game, and to acquire special Equipment. However, there are Bosses not-related to the main quests and can be found as a side activity or even roaming the world.

Diablo 4 Knight Council Strategy Writeup
The Knight Council is composed of three different Knights. The Devoted Champion and Grand Inquisitor, and the hulking Lord Commander. They have to be fought at the same time. Once the Grand Inquisitor or the Devoted Champion are killed, if the other one isn't killed fast enough, the killed knight will return with a reduced health bar. When both are killed at the same time, they will remain dead and you will have to face the Lord Commander.
In some Dungeons, they are mixed in different order, but the Lord Commander is always immovable on the roster.
Both the Devoted Champion and the Lord Commander fight in a more melee oriented way. The Grand Inquisitor is a magic user and doesn't fight melee. The Sacred Physician is an improved healer and user of holy magic. Target him first as he will drag on the fight
