Diablo 4 Whispering Pines Walkthrough
Whispering Pines can be found in the Highland Wilds section of Scosglen, which is located to the east of Cerrigar. If you're exploring this area, you'll come across the "Under the Fat Goose Inn" waypoint. Now, when you first enter this dungeon, you might notice that the initial part is quite small. However, don't let its size fool you because the creatures lurking inside are actually quite large. And that's not all! You'll also encounter a number of elite monsters throughout the dungeon. So, it's absolutely essential that you come prepared to face multiple elite monsters all at once. Sometimes, you might even have to deal with as many as three of them simultaneously!
The main goal of this dungeon is to locate and defeat the gatekeepers. Interestingly enough, these gatekeepers are accompanied by other elite monsters, which means you'll have to confront them as a group. Once you successfully take care of this challenge, you can move on to the second area, where you'll encounter some fierce demons. In this second part, your objective is to defeat every single monster that resides in the area. It's important to keep a watchful eye on your mini-map to make sure you don't miss any monsters lurking nearby. By doing so, you'll avoid unnecessary backtracking and make your journey through the dungeon much easier. Once you've managed to defeat all the monsters, the boss room will open up, granting you access to the final showdown.
The boss you'll face in the Whispering Pines dungeon is known as the Spiritcaller of Squalls. This boss shares many similarities with other Spiritcallers you may have encountered, so the strategy you've used before should still apply here. The boss itself is a fallen shaman who has grown to an enormous size. Just like other fallen shamans, this boss has the ability to bring back its fallen allies, which means you'll have to deal with additional minions during the fight. There are two crucial things to keep in mind when facing this boss: the totems and the minions.
Firstly, the boss will summon totems that become more dangerous when hit by its own projectiles, as they start producing more fireballs. It's absolutely vital to position yourself in a way that keeps the boss facing away from the totems, so you don't have to deal with the increased fireball onslaught. Secondly, as soon as the boss resurrects its minions, it's wise to eliminate them swiftly. Once the minions are taken care of, you can shift your attention back to the boss monster itself and focus your attacks on it. By following these tactics, you'll increase your chances of emerging victorious in the boss fight.
