Diablo 4 Temple of the Primes Walkthrough

With the blessings of Mephisto, Baal, and Diablo received, you can now enter the Temple of the Primes accompanied by Lorath. Head towards the right side, climb down, and jump across the gap to initiate your journey to the Temple. Proceed along the path, defeating enemies along the way, until you reach a point where you can descend.

Make your way to the lower level and follow the path downwards and to the left until you reach another descending point. From there, continue forward and take the first right to approach the Temple entrance and enter it. Inside the Hall of Hatred, turn left to begin your exploration of the dungeon and reach the ritual site. Follow the main path, which will lead you to a grand staircase, taking you to the Hall of Destruction.

Continue forward from there, and eventually, you will encounter a large door that is sealed shut, guarded by a formidable entity. The demon Malach, Master of Flame, will appear, and you must defeat him before proceeding. Once he is defeated, proceed through the door and continue your journey towards the ritual location. You will eventually reach another staircase that leads to the Hall of Terror.

As you progress through this area, you will eventually reach a vantage point overlooking the ritual site. At this point, speak with Lorath. He will inform you that it seems you have arrived too late, as the ritual has already commenced. However, he promises to handle Elias if you remain hidden. Once he is finished, descend the wall behind him to trigger a cutscene.

After the cutscene, you will engage in a battle with Brol, The Tyrant King. In the Altar of Sacrifice, Brol awaits you, ready to engage in battle. Armed with two large blades, he delivers powerful swings and unleashes an area-of-effect attack by raising his blades above his head, indicated by a ground circle. It is advisable to dodge around him and attack from behind, but be cautious of his extended reach. Deal a few hits and create distance to avoid his attacks. When he performs the area-of-effect attack, completely dodge out of the circle. After the attack, there is a brief moment when he is vulnerable as he regains his footing. Seize this opportunity to strike from behind before he retaliates.

Upon reaching the first marker, Brol raises a blade in the air, and additional enemies join the battle. Prioritize dealing with these new enemies, as Brol prepares to charge directly at you. Getting hit by his charge leaves you vulnerable to attacks from both the new enemies and Brol. Dodge around the arena, eliminating the other enemies first, before refocusing on Brol. Utilize area-of-effect attacks to efficiently dispatch the weaker enemies.

Once the additional enemies are defeated, redirect your attention to Brol. He will continue using the same attack patterns as before. Maintain your damage-dealing strategy from earlier. When reaching the second marker, Brol summons more enemies, so eliminate them while evading his charge by moving around the room. This pattern persists until the third marker, where Brol introduces a new attack. He throws his blades up and slams them onto the ground three times, creating small area-of-effect attacks indicated by ground circles. However, after the third slam, he briefly leaves himself vulnerable. Seize this opportunity to strike from behind before he recovers.

Upon reaching the fourth marker, Brol resumes his pattern of summoning enemies alongside his regular attacks. Stay alert, eliminate the enemies, and evade his charge to isolate Brol again. As you approach the final section between the last marker and his health depletion, he repeats his attack pattern. Continue dodging and attacking opportunistically. Patience is key during this intense phase with multiple elements in play. Once Brol is defeated, the dungeon will be completed.

  • Dungeons are instanced domains that offer a sanctuary for brave adventurers. They are thematically related to the region in which they are found, but their layout is randomized. Each Dungeon has their own Boss as well as a related Legendary Aspect that they reward, once completed. Players are also awarded 30 Renown points by completing a dungeon.
