How to complete Hungering Swamp in Diablo 4
Hungering Swamp can be completed by doing:
- Accompany your allies to the Hungering Swamp.
- Bring Taissa and Donan to the ritual site.
- Speak with Taissa.
- Collect Maggot Queen Ichor.
- Collect a Yellow Lotus.
- Slay Maggots at the Maggot Queen Nest.
- Slay Maggots to draw out the Maggot Queen.
- Slay the Maggot Queen.
- Place the Maggot Queen Ichor into the boiling pot.
- Place the Yellow Lotus into the boiling pot.
- Speak with Taissa in the Hungering Swamp.
- Ignite Swamp Incense 0/3.
- Speak with Taissa (Starts a cutscene).
- Enter the Fiery Portal.
- Follow the Herald of Hatred.
- Speak with the Herald of Hatred.
- Follow the Herald of Hatred.
- Speak with the Herald of Hatred.
- Exit the Fiery Portal.

Diablo 4 Hungering Swamp Walkthrough
Upon entering the dungeon, you'll find yourself within the Ritual Grounds. Now head north until you reach a hut, you'll meet Taissa there. She'll tell you that Valtha brought her there and that she requires some Maggot Queen Ichor and a Yellow Lotus. While looking for these items for the ritual, you will come across a variety of enemies such as Plague Maggots, Plague Maggot Young, Putrid Remains, Rotting Corpsefiends, and Swamp Spawn.
The Maggot Queen can be found at her nest south-southwest of the hut. Upon arrival, you will have to slay the Plague Maggots and Plague Maggot Young to draw out their queen. After defeating two waves of enemies, and the Maggot Queen will show up, defeat her and loot the Maggot Queen Ichor, then return to the hut.
To obtain the Yellow Lotus, head north from the hut and you'll eventually find the Yellow Lotus on the ground next to a blue torch. You will also encounter an Elite Plague Maggot Young in the area, you run past the enemies if you don't to deal with them. Now that you've obtained the Yellow Lotus, return to the hut and at the ritual site, place the Maggot Queen Ichor and Yellow Lotus in the pot next to Taissa. Speak to her then she'll ask you to light three braziers in the hut. Once you've lit the braziers, speak to Taissa again to initiate a cutscene.
After the cutscene, a Fiery Portal can be seen within the hut with no sign of Taissa or Donan. Enter the Fiery Portal to meet Mephisto. Speak to him and he'll propose for you to join him in focusing on Lilith while your allies deal with Elias. Now speak to him again and he'll open another Fiery Portal that leads back to the Sanctuary. You can open the door on your right then interact with the portal. Interacting with the portal will conclude the dungeon. You will then be transported to Taissa at the Ruined Tower.

- Dungeons are instanced domains that offer a sanctuary for brave adventurers. They are thematically related to the region in which they are found, but their layout is randomized. Each Dungeon has their own Boss as well as a related Legendary Aspect that they reward, once completed. Players are also awarded 30 Renown points by completing a dungeon.
