Heart of Mold is a Side Quest in Diablo 4. Heart of Mold can be found in Wejinhani, at the Dismal Foothills in Hawezar. Side Quests are optional missions that players can complete in order to obtain different rewards. Players are usually rewarded XP, and Gold depending on your level. Completing Side Quests in a specific region will also add to the Region Renown. Side Quests can be acquired by encountering various events or interacting with different NPCs.
As desperation grows, a more effective remedy for gut rot is needed.

Heart of Mold Walkthrough
After completing the Side Quest Fungal Remedies, this Quest will automatically be activated and your objective will be highlighted accordingly. In case you left this next Quest for later, your objective will be at Wejinhani in the Dismal Foothills.
- Speak with Yolanda
Talk to Yolanda and ask, "What comes next?" It doesn't seem like the remedy didn't work. You'll have to go for a different plan, involving a witch. Before you go, make sure you've activated the Waypoint here in Wejinhani if you haven't already.
- Take the head from the Grotesque Trophy
Head southeast to the gate of Wejistanie and interact with the Grotesque Trophy to get the Grotesque Head.
- Find the clearing in the Corpsewail Deluge
Place an objective marker for the quickest path there. The area indicated by the blue circle should be in the Corpsewail Deluge, in the Blightmarch. The clearing should be in the north area of the blue circle.
- Place the Grotesque Head in the Offering Bowl
- Light the Mossy Torches: 0/2
Interact with the Mossy Torches to light them and then interact with the Offering Bowl, glowing with red light, to place the head in it as your offering.
- Speak with Zurke
Approach him and tell him, "Zurke, the healer Yolanda has sent me for a remedy to gut rot." It seems the offering was enough. Time to get some more.
- Slay Nuroth the Vile Fang and claim his Oversized Snake Eyes
The next objective should be to the southeast. Your quarry will be a large snake-like Enemy. Nurath will be an Elite with the Affixes Poison Enchanted and Tempest. The other minor Enemies can make this fight overwhelming so deal with them whenever you can, and watch your Life as they all have poison. When it dies, it'll drop the Oversized Snake Eyes you need.
- Return to Zurke
Head back to the clearing where Zurke was in.
- Place the Oversized
Interact with the Decaying Animal Corpse to place the eyes in it. It'll implode, leaving only its heart behind.
- Take the Moldy Heart
Interact with the Moldy Heart behind you to pick it up.
- Bring the Heart of Mold to Yolanda
Teleport back to the Waypoint in Wejinhani and head to Yolanda. Talk to her and say, "Yolanda, I've brought the remedy. Make sure to keep it down." This one finally works and cures her. This will complete the quest.
