Crucible of Worth is a Side Quest in Diablo 4. Crucible of Worth can be found at Ked Bardu in the Kotama Grasslands in Dry Steppes. Side Quests are optional missions that players can complete in order to obtain different rewards. Players are usually rewarded XP, and Gold depending on your level. Completing Side Quests in a specific region will also add to the Region Renown. Side Quests can be acquired by encountering various events or interacting with different NPCs.
Recover the ancestral weapon of the Oxen Tribe.

Crucible of Worth Walkthrough
Begin the Quest by speaking to Gerti in Ked Bardu. Ask her "Is something wrong?" It seems someone stole an heirloom that's of utmost importance to them. This will activate the Quest and highlight your next objective location which will be quite far to the southwest of your current location, leading to the edge of the Horn of Komdor. Make sure you activate the Waypoint here in Ked Bardu if you haven't yet.
- Retrieve the Great Axe of Raekor
The area indicated by the circle will be within the Horn of Kondor. The area is home to different types of cultists, and it can get dangerous if you let them swarm you, so make sure to take care of them bit by bit as you get to the axe. Head to the edge of the area to the west on a cliff. The cultists will summon a Succubus to guard the axe.
- Take the Broken Great Axe of Raekor
You'll have to kill any Enemy that might disturb you 'cause it takes a few seconds of channeling after interacting with the axe to actually take it. The Succubus they summon will have a random Affix here to be careful. When you take the axe, it will go to the Quest tab of your inventory so don't worry about making space for it.
- Return the broken Great Axe to Gerti in Ked Bardu
Teleport back to Ked Bardu and talk to Gerti. Tell her, "I retrieved the great axe. It was damaged by the Triune." She'll know how to fix the axe but will need some Materials for the process.
- Acquire an Oppressor Horn
The next objective location will be far to the east, but not as far as the last one, leading to the Hapless Frontier. Place an objective marker at the area indicated by the blue circle and take the path to get there. You can also teleport first to Waypoint in Fate's Retreat if you've activated it already. The area will be home to some Vile Ones, Plague Maggots, and their stronger variants, including some Oppressors. Kill them to get the material you require.
- Gather Silver Quartz from the Infected Delve: 0/3
The next set of materials you'll need can be found at the next objective location at the northeast edge of the Kotama Grasslands, in a Dungeon called the Infected Delve. You can find the Dungeon on our Interactive Map here: [Diablo 4 Map Link]. Your objective here is to get Silver Quarts from the Glittering Ore Veins down here. There's no way to tell where they'll be because of the randomized nature of Dungeons. This Dungeon is home to Hornets, Serpents, Maggots, Abominations, and Pestilent Hosts, so be sure to be aware of your Life at all times.
- Return the materials to Gerti in Ked Bardu
Once you've finally collected all three, you can either clear the Dungeon or just exit. Either way, teleport back to Ked Bardu and speak to Gerti. Tell her, "I have what you need to repair the great axe." Gerti will repair the great axe and, making all this worth it, she'll elect to give it to you so it doesn't just gather dust in their forge. This will complete the quest.
