Fury Against Fate Walkthrough
After completing the Side Quest Raising Spears, this Quest will automatically be activated and your objective will be highlighted accordingly. In case you left this next Quest for later, your objective will at the northeastern area of the Crane Tribe Hutmoot.
- Speak with Ealda
Elda rallies her people with her speech and their ancestors' spears. Your next objective will bring you a bit southeast from your current position, to the Dungeon Wasting Hollow in Flayer's Outpost. You can find the Dungeon on our Interactive Map here: [Diablo 4 Map Link].
- Meet Ealda within the Wasting Hollow
Head down and speak to Ealda. After a few words, she will charge to the depths and attack the cannibals, and you'll have to follow and fight alongside them. If you find that the tribe doesn't move, don't charge in alone. This is a known bug that occurs when there's a simultaneous event right outside the Dungeon, or near the area, and the objective cannot be cleared without the tribe. If it happens to you, head out first and clear the event and then reload back into the Dungeon.
- Clear the cannibal feeding ground
Destroy the Gore-soaked Barricade and press on. The first wave of Enemies will be some Maniancs, two Executioners, and a Gorger.
- Speak with Ealda
After the first wave, Ealda will stop in front of some weapon stocks. Speak with her and tell her "All clear." She'll begin taunting the cannibals, as surviving the onslaught will prove the clan's mettle.
- Survive the cannibal incursion alongside the Crane Tribe
Seven more Executioners will drop down to start, and more will pile on as you kill them. The next wave will be more Executioners led by a Gorder and a Wretched Cleaver. After this will be yet more Executioners, a couple of Maniacs, with another Gorger, a Grave Cleaver, and Korvok the Carver, an Elite with three Affixes. As always, abilities that will hit multiple Enemies will be your best friend here, but mind your Life getting whittled down by the Elite's Affixes.
- Speak with Ealda
With renewed conviction and strength of will, Ealda declares her tribe's reawakening. The cannibals will face formidable resistance. This will complete the quest.

Fury Against Fate Notes, Tips, and Lore
- Notes & tips go here
- Fury Against Fate is the last of three Side Quests players have to accomplish in order to complete the Fury Against Fate Challenge.
- Bug: There is a known bug where the Crane Tribe do not move forward when they're supposed to inside the Wasting Hollow. This is known to happen when there's a nearby event occurring at the same time outside of the Dungeon. Players should head out first and clear the event before going back inside to continue the Side Quest.

I can't get the quest to work at all. No matter what I try to do, they just don't move.

Workaround to fix the quest bug. Tried re-entering the cave/relogging after clearing the event about a dozen times without success while the above worked immediately.

if the quest bugs out, go outside the cave and clear the event to try again. I had to relog after clearing event and trying to talk with leader in cave when the event was not available. The event outside seems to mess with this quest.
Still bugged. When will it be fixed!
