A Price to Pay is a Side Quest in Diablo 4. A Price to Pay can be found in Zabinzet at the Umir Plateau in Hawezar. Side Quests are optional missions that players can complete in order to obtain different rewards. Players are usually rewarded XP, and Gold depending on your level. Completing Side Quests in a specific region will also add to the Region Renown. Side Quests can be acquired by encountering various events or interacting with different NPCs.

A Price to Pay Walkthrough
After completing the Side Quest The Heretic, this Quest will automatically be activated and your objective will be highlighted accordingly. In case you left this next Quest for later, your objective will be at Aneta's house, in the north area of Zarbinzet.
- Speak with Vera
Inside the house, you'll find a villager pressing Vera for answers as to Aneta's whereabouts. Speak to her and say, "Aneta has run away! Where could she have gone?" Must not be nice to be Anata right now. Someone will call you in hushed tones from outside.
- Find the source of the hushed voice
The next target area is just outside of the house, still in Zarbinzet.
- Speak with Suzana
When you get close to the source of the hushed calls, she'll bid you to follow her away from prying eyes and ears. It seems Aneta at least has one other person in her corner. The next target area will be indicated by a blue circle, still in Zarbinzet.
- Search homes for the book of folk remedies
The book you're looking for is in the corner of the Blacksmith's place, in the easternmost area of the blue circle. Interact with the big book called Wejinhani Dispensatory.
- Travel to the Blind Burrows
Your next target location will be far to the east, in the Diseased Embankment at the Fethis Wetlands. Place an objective marker on your map for the fastest path there.
- Speak with Aneta
Surprisingly, probably knowing about the folk remedy herself, Aneta will be there, obviously suffering from the voices in her head. Approach her and ask, "Aneta! Are you alright?"
- Collect Spider Venom: 0/8
To help her, you'll need to collect the ingredients for the remedy inside the Blind Burrows Dungeon right behind her. You can find the Dungeon on our Interactive Map here: [Diablo 4 Map Link]. Inside, just keep killing spider-type Enemies to have the Spider Venom drop from their loot.
- Return to Aneta
You can clear the Dungeon if you'd like. Otherwise, exit from where you came from and head back to Aneta.
- Pour the venom into the Boiling Pot
Outside, Aneta already has the Boiling Pot prepared despite her struggle. Interact with it to enter a channeling state as you pour the venom in.
- Speak to Aneta
After you're done channeling, speak to Aneta and ask her, "Are you sure about this?" She isn't but she's resolved to try. It doesn't seem to be working, but someone named Gulyas comes out of nowhere to help out.
- Speak with Gulyas
Ask the stranger, "Who are you?" It seems Aneta was destined for something more than being a villager outcast after all. Gulyas promises to help her as they both leave for the east coast. This will complete the quest.
