The Woodsman of Nevesk is a Side Quest in Diablo 4. The Woodsman of Nevesk can be found at Nevesk, Fractured Peaks. Side Quests are optional missions that players can complete in order to obtain different rewards. Players are usually rewarded XP, and Gold depending on your level. Completing Side Quests in a specific region will also add to the Region Renown. Side Quests can be acquired by encountering various events or interacting with different NPCs.

The Woodsman of Nevesk Walkthrough
Begin the Quest by speaking to Magdalena near the Waypoint in Nevesk. Ask her, "Looking for something?" She'll explain that she's looking for an axe for a prize a priest offered her. This will activate the Quest and highlight your next objective location which will just be northeast of your current location. The area should be indicated by a small blue circle on your map, leading to Boulder Ridge still in the Desolate Highlands.
- Search the wilderness for the Woodsman's Axe
You should be able to find the axe at the north edge of the blue circle, plunged onto a log.
- Retrieve the Woodsman's Axe
Interact with the axe and it will disappear and summon The Woodsman after some red explosions. You'll have to defeat him before you can take the axe. The Woodsman will be an Elite Enemy with the Affixes Cold Enchanted and Vampiric. He's a large target so hitting him won't be an issue, and he isn't too fast. Just watch your Life and dodge his frontal swings. Eventually, he should fall and drop The Woodsman's Axe along with other random loot.
- Return the Woodsman's Axe to Magdalena
Teleport back to the Waypoint in Nevesk and head back to Magdalena. Tell her, "I have the Woodsman's Axe." She'll express her gratitude. This will complete the quest.
