How to get Shepherd's Aspect in Diablo 4
Shepherd's Aspect can be obtained by:
- Successfully completing the Bloodsoaked Cragdungeon [Map Link] will unlock it in your Codex of Power. Please note that when using a Legendary Aspect from the Codex of Power, you will always receive the lowest value within the range of values that the bonus offers
- Extracting it from a Legendary Item: By looting a Legendary item, you can extract the Legendary Aspect from it at the cost of sacrificing the item. It has only one use, as once you imprint it, you cannot use it again until you obtain it again from another Legendary item.

What means "active"? Is this Active as in placed in the skill bar. or is this Active as in activating the skill (for example for the duration of poison creeper). ?
Guess its a good idea for Blizz to add a "detail" button on any skills, which directs you to a screen with explanation on skill functionality..they programmed it, so they must know exactly how it works right?

I don't know if the ravens are counting towards the bonus dmg. I've tried to testing in-game just putting ravens on and taking off my bar but it doesn't seem to affect my core skill dmg.

Another Aspect adds +1 companion. So you now have 3 wolves following you (instead of 2) or 2 ravens (instead of one)
Sooo if i have the Ravens and Wolves active, with the aspect to increase number of companions, i got 3 wolves and 2 ravens which is 5 in total. So will this Shepherds Aspect give me 5x the damage buff?
makes sense right...? I cant really be sure tho...

The way I interpret it is by the keyword "active companion" the only ability under the Companion kills that shares that keyword is the wolves. following this logic means we could stack up to 3X additional [6-10%] damage for each active Companion.
